Have you ever had someone say, “Relax! Chill out!” when you’re feeling anything but? How’d that go?!
Not everyone finds it easy to create a balance between the “doing” and the “being” in life, the speed and the slowing down. And those who give a lot to others often find it particularly hard to give restorative space for themselves.
Space to relax and let our thoughts untangle is not just common sense, it’s now widely proven to be essential for our wellbeing. And, frankly, when you have neuroscientists advising picnic blanket, bottle of wine & watching the clouds go by, you know you have Absolute Permission to find yourself some gentle time, yes?
Our classic Recharge, Refocus, Relax Retreat is the kind of nurturing “me time” that restores your balance gently and naturally. Fine tuned over 8 years of diligent practice, we specialise in helping you slow down and relax safely, a kind of mountain soul-spa system reset.
Your stay here is easy going and flexible, full of inspiring mountain views, and various mixes of carefully paced walks, pampering, space, conversation, coaching, lovingly prepared home cooked meals – and plenty of freshly baked cake. We laugh lots, cater for all diets and you can bring your own drinks.
We maintain an easy going atmosphere so that you can relax and enjoy being looked after. And just so you’re clear, we are NOT a lettuce-only, tee-total sort of retreat. What we ARE is a scrummy favourite meals, glass of wine, puddings and chocolate cake sort of retreat.
These retreats are grown-ups only, so that you can focus purely on your self. (If you’d like to share the experience with your youngsters, please check out the Family Retreats.)
You’ve got space to be on your own when you want, and company to eat and chat with when you want: Ideal if you’re looking for a holiday for your self.
When I was doing my countdown to come here, I had NO IDEA that what I would get was far beyond what I had hoped for. This is a place where I can just be myself. No pretending to be stronger than I feel or funnier than I am. Being amongst like-minded people that become friends within hours. A truly nourishing place in many ways. This is the happiest I’ve felt like in months. Leave your worries behind and the mountains will do the rest!!! – Melanie
Prices start from £500 per person for an all inclusive 3 night weekend, £890 per person for a week (for couples or shared twin room, it’s £650 for a 3 night weekend, £1200 for a whole week)
