October 2011 Black Mountains

I love the Black Mountains in Autumn! The grass is still a lush rich green, the bracken’s doing a lovely warm toffee number and the sky looks a fab brilliant blue or cosy moody grey. The colours leave me grinning before we’ve even started with the walking, eating cake, chatting and sitting by the log fire with a glass of wine…. Ahhh, a beautiful place to breathe.
For you right now, here’s some of the highlights of our October week, from food shopping to the last bit of treacle sponge…
