5 days to unwind, a lifetime of difference
Take advantage of this May Day offer to save over £300 and refresh your self at Castle Farm

When was the last time you took time out to recharge your batteries? Busy job, busy parenting, busy life, concerns about finances, relationships, where next… it can all build up sometimes leaving you feeling like you’re stuck on a treadmill. Everything takes a little longer or feels a little harder when we’re running on depleted mental and physical energy, and life can feel more of an existence than fun.

The truth is, it isn’t going to get any better unless you invest some time in your-self, take action to break the cycle and regain control. This is of course sometimes easier said than done. Things happen, people need you, stuff gets in the way, and the time put aside for you gets bumped further and further down your personal to-do list.

Sound Familiar?

So how do you slow the pace of life down for a while, take stock, replenish your energy levels and restore what makes you tick?

You go looking for:

  • Space to take your foot off the accelerator, free wheel and come to rest at your own pace
  • Some perspective to sort out exactly what problem to fix, untangle your thoughts
  • Time without responsibilities, where everything is sorted for you, no decisions to make
  • Skilled, supportive thinking space to help jump you out of the rut
  • And some good old fashioned comforts – log fires, home cooked meals, cake, a bit of pampering, listening, conversation that’s about what you’re interested in.

Then you return to life, clearer about what you’re about and what you’re going to do, better equipped to handle it, and supported on route. Only you know what you really want and what your priorities are, it’s your life to control, but you don’t have to figure out the route on your own.

My name’s Sarah Maliphant and I’ve spent the last eight years helping people regain control, slow down the pace of life, get perspective and replenish their energy.

With sixteen years of business insights and personnel development from a successful corporate career, and eight years running down to earth, outdoor-based leadership and personal development, I have worked with hundreds of people experiencing degrees of burn out. Many were suffering unecessarily, under the stoical assumption that their only option was to soldier on.

Stoicism is valuable as one of your options… and there are many additional options to discover as well, when you give yourself space and support to do so. So in 2009 I launched More to… aiming to bring the most popular, well used, life-enabling elements of all that I know to a wider audience, at an attainable price, with plentiful humour, calm and cake.

I help busy people make the space to recharge their batteries, realign their focus and relax – because when you have enough energy and you know you’re on track, a lot of anxieties dissipate naturally.

I’ve never known a place have such a profound effect on me before. The farm is magical. But a building and great views alone can’t do that. You create something special and magical there. I feel a sense of great calm with you. Your open, free-spirited nature is wonderful, and you bring it to life – Keily Geary, Programme Administrator, Winchester

Recharge, Refocus, Relax at Castle Farm

If you feel now is the time to step away for a few days and focus on yourself, I’ve got a very special offer for you. We have some late availability rooms for May 18th-23rd so rather than have them sitting looking at the view empty, I’m offering them at extremely keen prices. I am curious whether a lower price does make it easier for you to give yourself some time out and I would dearly love the magic of the farm to be enjoyed in full!

Nature and time have created something majestic about the space in and around you, but you create the intangible brilliance that is difficult to describe, without fuss and seemingly without effort that allows your guests to enjoy a level of relaxation they likely didn’t know existed – Bruce Duckett, Restaurant Proprietor, London

The venue is a significant part of this restful retreat. Castle Farm, in Capel-y-ffin, is set in a peaceful Welsh valley in the Brecon Beacons, near Hay-on-Wye. It is only a 3 hour drive from London, but feels a million miles away. Surrounded by the stunning Black Mountains, and absolutely nothing else, there are views dawn till dusk, walks from the back door and gentle ambles around the farm.

But it’s not just the farm. There’s a particular vibe here, a gentle ease to the days, freedom from decisions.

This is a magical place! If fulfils its promise to relax, recharge and refocus, and delivers so much more. Engaging company, warmth, friendship, fab food, love, care and attention. Many thanks to Sarah, Laura and Joyce for making my second stay here as memorable as the first!  Julie Biggs, Director HR Services, Taunton
